TOMRI SAHIB Gaddi Nashin - Mahant Rameshwar Dass Ji

Shree Rameshwar Dass Ji was born in the year 1924 at Baddo-ki-Gosaiyan village. He was honoured the great responsibility of Gaddi after his father Mahant Ram Narain ji.

Mahant Rameshwar Dass Ji had few cows. He always used to take utmost care of them. During winter season, cows used to be covered with woolen / blanket as 1st priority rather than family members.

He had done a great job of uniting the devotees of gaddi by visiting their house and motivating them.

He also celebrated the “Mela Yegh Baddon-ki-Gosain” every year at Ghaziabad, Delhi –Ajmal Khan Park and Roshanara Bagh.

Bharat Ratna Awardee and 2nd Prime Minister of India Shree Gulzari Lal Nanda was also devotee of the Gaddi and used to visit Mela Yag festival at Ghaziabad for Mahant Ji’s blessing.

Mahant ji passed away for haven on 28th April 1978 after completing his noble cause on the earth. After him, his younger brother Sh. Kishore Chand Goswami was honoured with the great responsibility of Gaddi as Mahant.
